For young beginner piano lessons, Phavian incorporates Whole Body Learning into lessons so that students learning is embedded within a multi-sensory approach to learning music. Students who feel the music understand the music beyond a mechanical movement. Rhythm and aural ability is emphasized from the beginning.

How many times have we heard a student who have memorized a piece but have no idea how to read a piece? How many students who have never composed a piece? Phavian’s method puts exploration first. Students will be improvising and creating from the very first lesson - including using pieces from the method book to create their own music!
