About Daniel

Daniel is currently studying biomedicine and engineering at Monash University - however his passion extends beyond the mechanical. He first fell in love with the sound of the Piano with a piece from ‘John Thompson’s Little Fingers’, and everything else continued from there, where he ended up completing the AMEB Certificate of Performance Exam. Daniel has played in rock bands and has a love of all styles of music, including pop, jazz and classical.

Fun Fact: Daniel has perfect pitch - meaning he can hear a note and name it! He has also played Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2 in Hamer Hall!

Daniel loves to improvise, create and transcribe. His ultimate goal is to foster a love of learning for all students so that they too can share his passion on the piano!
